<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent easy dropping of an operating ratio of a waste heat utilizing apparatus even when a thermal energy amount of combustion exhaust gas exhausted from a melting furnace is small. <P>SOLUTION: The waste disposal facility is provided with a pyrolizing furnace 2 carrying out a dry distillation process of waste and pyrolizing it into pyrolysis gas and pyrolysis residue, a hot air generation furnace 3 capable of supplying hot air for pyrolysis generated by burning the pyrolysis gas to the pyrolizing furnace, the melting furnace 4 carrying out a melting process of the pyrolysis residue, an air preheater 5 preheating air for combustion to be supplied to the melting furnace to a predetermined temperature, a heat exchanger 7 for waste heat recovery capable of recovering waste heat by carrying out heat exchange with the combustion exhaust gas exhausted from the melting furnace, and the waste heat utilizing apparatus 8 utilizing the waste heat recovered by the heat exchanger for waste heat recovery.
