摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a language learning device capable of effectively presenting a stimulation sound for learning whose acoustic features are operated to a learner.

SOLUTION: In the foreign language learning device 300, a hard disk 324 stores a model speech of a foreign language in the form of an original speech database 3242 and also stores the degree of attainment of a learner and amplification rages of acoustically featured parts included in the model speech in the form of an amplification degree database 3246 while making them correspond to each other. A learning control section 3220 synthesizes a stimulation speech by selectively amplifying acoustically featured parts at a designated amplification rate and updates the amplification rate into a less one when a correct answer rate when the stimulation speech is imparted to the learner meets level-up conditions predetermined according to the degree of attainment.
