<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately decrease the amount of data of various waveform signals. <P>SOLUTION: A waveform processing device 100 includes an angle calculation section 2 which calculates the angle of a vector connecting adjacent samples to a time base for each sample of an input waveform signal and a sample deletion section 3 which compares angles calculated by the angle calculation section 2 for respective samples and deletes samples of the waveform signal according to the comparison result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
