<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder container and an image forming apparatus where spattering of housed powder and torque up are prevented by suppressing the deviation of a rotation center axis between a discharging member and a container main body in a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A toner container comprises: a bottle main body 33 which is formed cylindrically and provided with a spiral carrying part 36 for carrying a housed toner to a mouth part 35 side by rotating; and a cap 40 which is fitted to the mouth part 35 of the bottle main body 33, and provided with a replenishing port 44 and a grip part 46 at its peripheral surface and rotatable relatively to the bottle main body. The bottle main body 33 and the cap 40 are integrated and the toner container is attachable to and detachable from an apparatus main body. Ribs 48 are formed to regulate a center axis at a part where the cap 40 accepts the mouth part 35 and the rotation center axis of the bottle main body 33 so that they do not go away from each other in attaching and detaching operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
