<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device capable of preventing a recording surface of a paper sheet from being damaged by a separating piece of a separator at the most downstream position in the feeding direction when feeding the paper sheets housed by stacking in a cassette main body to a recording part through a U-shaped turn-over type feeding route in cooperation of a paper feeding roller with the separator of an inclined separating plate. <P>SOLUTION: In this paper feeding device, each of separating pieces 79 is projected from a surface side of the inclined separating plate 8 in a nearly central part of the inclined separating plate 8 in a direction crossing the paper sheet feeding direction. Projection quantity H2 of the tip of the separating piece 7 projecting from the surface of the inclined separating plate 8 is set to be nearly equal or a little smaller to/than projection quantity H3 of the peripheral surface of a roller 82 projecting from the surface of the inclined separating plate 8 to secure the paper sheet separating performance and to surely prevent damage in the surface (recording surface) of the paper sheet P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
