<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus by which a user can set a desired operation condition according to usage purpose of the user, by preventing the user from erroneously selecting an operation condition in which an operation cannot be performed. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, it is determined whether or not a support function key is depressed (step SP1). When the support key function is depressed, it is determined whether or not an original document is single-sided or double-sided (steps SP2-SP4).
