<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized quartz oscillator which can be made low in height and also improves productivity, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the quartz oscillator, a recessed first space 15 is formed on the principal surface of an insulated substrate 6, an approximately rectangular integrated circuit element 7 in which an oscillation circuit is integrated, and an electronic component element are mounted on the principal surface of the insulated substrate 6 in the first space 15, a recessed second space 16 for housing a quartz vibrating element 5 electrically connected with the integrated circuit element 7 and the electronic component element is provided on the upper surface of the first space 15 of the insulated substrate 6, and a lid 14 is placed and air-tightly sealed at the opening upper edge of the second space 16. In thus configured quartz oscillator, a first solder vamp 12 used for mounting the integrated circuit element and a second vamp 17 having a fusing point higher than that of the first vamp are alternately disposed along with periphery of the surface of the integrated circuit element 7 at the side of the insulated substrate 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
