PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of miniaturizing a header tank, simplifying its structure, and reducing assembly man-hours. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger is provided with a plurality of tubes 2 passing a refrigerant through interiors, a refrigerant inflow side header tank 3 arranged on a refrigerant inlet 5 to the plurality of tubes 2, and a refrigerant outflow side header tank 4 arranged on a refrigerant outlet 18 from the plurality of tubes 2. A bundle of the plurality of tubes 2 has three clinch parts 6, 7 and 8 in an interval from the refrigerant inflow side header tank 3 to a refrigerant outflow side header tank 4, and arranges both of the refrigerant inflow side header tank 3 and the refrigerant outflow side header tank 4 on the same side. With this constitution, the miniaturization of the header tank and simplification of its structure can be carried out, and assembly man-hours can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
