PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of preventing inherent unsafety in opening and closing a door, such as collision with an obstacle and trapping in a door closing operation, in automatically opening and closing the door, in a heating cooker where the opening/closing door is automatically opened and closed. SOLUTION: In this heating cooker where the opening/closing door is automatically opened and closed, when a lock determining means 23 detects the locking of a driving means 25 by detecting quick deceleration acting on the driving means 25 or the like, it is regarded that the obstacle to the operation of the opening/closing door during opening and closing motion is detected, and an operation instructing means 22 operates the opening/closing door in the reverse direction. Further when an opening/closing door position calculating means 21 detects a front position at a front side in the closing direction, of a full-close position where the opening/closing door is completely closed, by the operation of an intermediate switch 5 during closing motion of the opening/closing door, the operation instructing means 22 reduces a closing speed of the opening/closing door, to prevent injury caused by trapping of a hand and a finger by the opening/closing door.
