PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting joint, easily connecting wire ropes or the like to be adjusted to a required length depending on the site status, allowing the connecting part to easily pass through a pulley by making an endless rope, connecting the rope to another member, and facilitating separation to perform safe and sure work. SOLUTION: This rope connecting joint is composed of connecting terminals provided on the connecting part of the rope or a second member and a connector connecting both connecting terminals, wherein the connecting terminals are fixed to the rope, and secured to the second member, one end of the connector is engaged with one connecting terminal by a forward screw, and the other end of the connector is engaged with the other connecting terminal by an inverse screw. The joint has an auxiliary connector, and it is engaged with both connecting terminals by a forward screw. One or both of the connector and the auxiliary connector are divided into a forward screw engaging part and an inverse screw engaging part, which are connected to each other by a chain ring. Forward screw engaging parts are formed at both ends of the connector to be connected by a ball joint.
