PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool service life predicting device for accurately predicting time when a tool completes the service life. SOLUTION: This tool service life predicting device is provided with load detecting means 33 to 35 for detecting a load acting on the tool 4, and an approximate expression generating means 26 for generating an approximate expression (f) of a change in the load from statistics of the detected load.
