A water-soluble hot-melt adhesive based on (A) (co)polymer(s) with free carboxylic acid groups and (C) inorganic or organic base(s) also contains (B) water-soluble or water-dispersible polyurethane(s). Water-soluble hot-melt adhesive (I) containing (A) 40-70 wt% homo- or co-polymer(s) with free carboxylic acid groups, based on ethylenically-unsaturated monomers, (B) 15-45 wt% water-soluble or water-dispersible polyurethane(s), (C) 10-45 wt% inorganic or organic base(s) and (D) 0-20 wt% other additives. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for the production ofby mixing components (A), (B) and optionally (D) at 70-150[deg]C to form a homogeneous melt, adding (C) (and optionally (D)) at not above 80-100[deg]C, and stirring to give a homogeneous mixture; (2) hygiene paper and textile composites with at least two layers containing (I); (3) paper containingwhich is made sticky by moistening; (4) a method for the production of composite paper with at least two layers, by coatingonto one layer of paper and then laminating another layer of paper onto the adhesive side; (5) a method for the production of moisture-sticky paper by coating paper withon at least one side; and (6) a method for the production of textile composites by coating (I) onto one textile sheet, placing another textile sheet on the adhesive side, preferably stitching the resulting composite and then preferably removing; and (I) by washing with water. |
