<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To consecutively reproduce a plurality of pieces of data which are photographed with a digital camera and recorded in a recording medium, with abundant expression by simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: In a digital camera, the photographed image data are recorded in the recording medium together with Exif information containing photographing condition information. In the digital camera, a reproduction effect to be added in the case of reproducing the image data is previously associated with a photographing condition. In the case of slide show reproduction of the image data recorded in the recording medium, the reproduction effect associated with the photographing condition corresponding to the image data is added to each image data to be reproduced. Even when a user does not perform setting each time, the reproduction effect of each image data is added automatically, and the slide show reproduction of abundant expression is enjoyed.
