<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple disk clutch device having a simple and inexpensive mechanism while surely preventing the fixation of both metal plates to each other when a friction material is lost. <P>SOLUTION: A snap ring 11 is applied to an inner diameter portion of a piston sliding part to control the displacement of a piston 4. The snap ring 11 is provided for restricting the movement of the piston to prevent the fixation. This is the simple and inexpensive mechanism. If a facing material 3 for a driving plate 2 is burnt(lost), the snap ring 11 keeps the piston 4 at a constant distance and prevents the movement farther than specified, thus preventing the fixation between a driven plate 1 and the driving plate 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
