<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of making image recording with a high grade of image by preventing a sheet from being fed askew in the image recording part. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device is to record images while the sheet is transported the nipping part formed by an intermediate transcription belt and a secondary transcription outer roller 44 and is equipped with a sheet transporting means for transporting sheet to the nipping part, a CCD line sensor to sense the sheet size in its width direction as perpendicular to the sheet transporting direction, and a transcription side restricting part 2 provided near the nipping part and restricting the width direction of the sheet transported, wherein the transcription side restricting part 2 moves the nipping part to the position of restricting the width direction of the transported sheet on the basis of the sensing result of the CCD line sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
