<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize efficient work for assembling spherical rollers 4, 4 in pockets 11, 11 of a cage 5. <P>SOLUTION: The cage 5 is supported on a first jig 17, and the spherical rollers 4, 4 are held on a roller holding portion 23 of a second jig 18. The cage 5 is pressed at its upper side by a third jig 20. In this state, the spherical rollers 4, 4 are thrust at a time by thrusting pieces 19, 19, and displaced to the radially inward direction of the cage 5.
