摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion system, a focal point detecting device, a focal point detecting method and an imaging apparatus, which realize an electronic shutter free from the lag of storage time, accurately detect a focal point at high speed and perform more accurate focusing operation in a subject with low luminance or a subject with a small contrast difference. SOLUTION: One pixel to perform photoelectric conversion is divided into two pixels PD1 and PD2, and ordinarily the photoelectric conversion is performed only by the pixel PD1. In the case of using the pixel PD2, the pixel PD1 and the pixel PD2 are added and used when the luminance of reflected light from the subject is low, that is, in a low-luminance state, and wirings are applied to a line in a direction where a phase difference is detected in the figure of one block where a phase difference in a longitudinal direction is detected. The wirings 172-1 to 172-m and 173-1 to 173-m are connected to a memory 175 through adders 174-1 to 174-m, and the memory 175 is shielded from light, and output from the respective pixels is transferred to the memory 175 all together by the wirings simultaneously with the finish of storage.
