<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device provided with a sensor unit 13 which can surely set an operation condition. <P>SOLUTION: The sensor unit13 has a human body sensor 35, a luminance sensor 37, and switches A, B, C. The switches A, B, C set an operation condition for controlling lighting state of a light source depending on the detection of the human body sensor 35 and the luminance sensor 37. When the operation condition can be set by the combination of the switches A, B, C, the lighting state of the light source is controlled by the preset operation condition.
