PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing cover, simplifying manufacture and fitting, and fitted to a gear housing or a steering gear housing. SOLUTION: This housing cover 100 is characterized in that a cover housing is formed as a metal sheet where parts are formed, and provided with through holes 108 for two or more fastening means and a seal bead 116 formed of elastomer material, and that in the case where the housing cover 100 is placed prior to fastening to the housing, at least one contact area part 122 of the inner surface of the housing cover 100 is projected to cover the inner peripheral edge of the through holes 108 for two fastening means, and the contact area part 122 is positioned between the through holes 108 for two fastening means to thereby support the seal bead 116.
