PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manage the entire configuration of three-dimensional shape data constituted of a plurality of parts and to easily specify a hierarchical structure. SOLUTION: The data structure is a data structure of data storing a combination of a plurality of pieces of part information constituting a three-dimensional shape model in a hierarchical structure, and consists of part shape information specifying the shape of the part information constituting the three-dimensional shape model and component information storing position information with position information of an assembly existing in a master hierarchy as reference about one or more component information and assemblies in each hierarchy of the hierarchical structure. The data structure is used, wherein component information to be at the highest order of the hierarchical structure is first arranged among pieces of component information with respect to an order for arranging the part shape information and the component information.
