PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air gap antenna wherein the impedance characteristic can be enhanced and the assembly performance, the strength and the retention can be improved. SOLUTION: Dielectric spacers 3, 4 are inserted to an air gap 9 between a patch 1 and a ground 2 of the air gap antenna 10, and the dielectric spacers 3, 4 are respectively fixed by a resin screw 8 and a metallic screw 7. The dielectric spacer 3 is arranged around at least one end of the patch on a straight line connecting a feeding point 1a and the center of the patch, and the dielectric spacer 4 is arranged to the center of the patch. Further, an outer conductor part of a coaxial connector 6 is connected to the ground 2, and a feeding pin 5 the head of which inserted to a center conductor of the coaxial connector 6 has a slightly greater diameter is caulking-connected to the patch 1.
