PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device for performing speed change control using air pressure assist controlled by an electric motor or an electric valve, to control a machine element in the transmission device to be displaced at a proper speed. SOLUTION: In the transmission device, the moving speed of the machine element is properly controlled by controlling a current to be less supplied to the electric motor or the electric valve when the machine element such as a shaft, a gear, a ring, a rod, a block, a valve, or a synchronous ring is actuated with the position control of the machine element in the transmission device.
