PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower device used in a compact home electronic appliance such as a vacuum cleaner and capable of improving efficiency of a fan and heat radiation property of a motor. SOLUTION: This blower device is composed of a housing, a centrifugal impeller, a guide vane, and the motor for rotating the centrifugal impeller. In particular, average diameter of an impeller blade of the centrifugal impeller is designed to be 87-93% of diameter of the housing. A shroud of the centrifugal impeller, a hub, and the guide vane are optimally designed using size of the housing or average diameter of the impeller blade as reference. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
