PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas engine working machine driven by a 4-cycle gas engine which can use butane gas and propane gas having different vapor pressure characteristics. SOLUTION: The gas engine working machine is covered by a main body cover, and is driven by the 4-cycle engine for performing compression ignition combustion using a mixed gas of liquefied petroleum gas of butane or propane and air, and outputting it. The gas engine working machine is equipped with a gas cartridge storage room provided partitioned on the upper part inside the main body cover, a vaporizer for heating butane liquefied gas with heat from the cylinder, a fuel gas pressure regulator, an air-gas mixing device, a fuel cock for switching between opening and closing of a supply gas passage, and a governor for adjusting a rotation speed range. The butane liquefied gas cylinder is set into the gas cylinder storage room, or a supply pipe such as a separate propane gas liquefied cylinder can be connected to the fuel cock, and the fuel cock can be used to switch between butane gas and propane gas.
