PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor for solving a problem that a permanent magnet, used for fixing a vane disposed to a cylinder on a cylinder cut off operation side, magnetizes the vane to attract fine metal powders, promote abrasion of a sliding part, and shorten a service life of the compressor, and thereby for improving reliability of the compressor, in a multicylinder type rotary hermetic compressor whose capacity can be changed in two stages of full load operation and control load operation by cylinder cut off operation of one cylinder.
