PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring housing fitting material which is formed by leading wires into a wire housing portion formed in a fitting material body, and attaching a cap body to the fitting material body, wherein the wire housing portion secures a large housing capacity therein while the dimension of the fitting material body is secured as it is or reduced. SOLUTION: The wire housing portion 2 has a recessed cross-sectional wiring space 21 in which the wires 4 are housed, and a pair of recessed steps 22 into which a pair of mounting legs 32 of the cap body 3 are fitted when the cap body 3 is mounted. Each recessed step 22 is formed by expanding a part of the side surface 211 of the wiring space 21 outward so as to prevent the mounting leg 32 of the cap body 3 from springing into the wiring space 21.
