PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for nasal cavity application, capable of uniformly and efficiently covering the inner surface of the nasal cavity, safely applicable without causing the accumulation of the composition in the trachea, mitigating uncomfortable feeling caused by rhinitis, keeping the effect and usable e.g. for the moisture retention of the nasal cavity in the case of rhinitis such as allergic rhinitis represented by pollinosis. SOLUTION: The composition for nasal cavity contains a foaming agent to generate foam and covers the inner surface of the nasal cavity with the composition by the foam. The foaming agent is at least one substance selected from saponin and lecithin. The saponin is preferably quillaja saponin or soybean saponin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
