PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device using an ink jet process in which generation of ill influence such as contamination is reduced even if a paper sheet used is of a type unlikely to dry. SOLUTION: The image forming device is equipped with a printing part 1 to print the sheet on its obverse surface using ink jet process, a sheet feeding part 2 to feed paper sheets to the printing part 1, a transport part 3 in which the sheets fed from the sheet feeding part 2 to the printing part 1 are guided, and a delivery part 4 to deliver the sheets having passed the printing part 1 to outside the device body, wherein delivery part 3 is furnished with a transport roller 40 to transport the sheets fed from the printing part 1, a spur 44 to abut to the transport roller 40, a delivery roller 41 to deliver the sheets from the transport roller 40 to a delivery tray 47, and a recessed guide plate 42 installed in the transport path leading from the transport roller 40 to the delivery roller 41 for guiding the undersurface of each sheet, in which the spur 44 is installed in such a way as abutting on the downstream side in the transporting direction to the rotary shaft of the transport roller 40 so as to direct the sheet transportation toward the recessed guide plate 42.
