PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing factors to affect the image formation by reliably removing dew condensation on a conveying passage. SOLUTION: The image forming device forms an image on a recording medium F by taking out the recording medium F from a recording medium feed unit A with a plurality of recording media F stacked therein, and conveying the recording media F. The image forming device comprises a control unit E to control the conveying operation of the recording media F, cleaning sheet feed means 15, 17, 35, 110 to feed a cleaning sheet CS to remove dew condensation generated on a conveying passage to the conveying passage. The control unit E takes out the cleaning sheet CS from the cleaning sheet feed means 15, 17, 35, 37, 110 during the warm-up period when the device is started, and conveys it along the conveying passage.
