PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper binding piece used for binding a document without using a metallic needle, and its use. SOLUTION: This paper binding piece is formed of belt-like paper materials 5 and 5, and a comb-teeth shape having comb-teeth orthogonal to the direction, is arranged on both sides or one side orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of a belt. In the comb-teeth, the length and a width of the comb-teeth and a width between the comb-teeth are respectively set in a predetermined value determined by the thickness of a binding document and the character number printed on a binding part. A pressure sensitive adhesive material or an adhesive material is arranged on one surface including an end part 6 of the comb-teeth, and can be separated as one binding piece 5 with respective comb-teeth.
