摘要 The method involves using a burner to which a gaseous oxidant and a fuel are fed that react to form a reaction zone. A fuel flow emanates via a central burner nozzle (13) and an oxidant flow visa an annular burner nozzle (14) around the central nozzle. The reaction zone contains a pre-reaction zone in a mixing and combustion chamber associated with the burner nozzles and the ratio of pulse flow densities of the oxidant flow to fuel flow is set to a value between 0.45 and 10. An independent claim is also included for a pipe-in-pipe burner.
