<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely treat condensed water generated on an engagement portion of a heat exchanger for an air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: A notch 6 is formed on a vertical lower face of an engagement portion 5 engaged with a U-shaped portion provided on a second pipe plate 4b, that is, a pipe plate 4b on a return side formed by folding another one of a heat transfer pipe 1 into the U-shape, of two pipe plates mounted on both end portions of a number of fins 2 in parallel with the fins 2, thus the condensed water generated on the engagement portion 5 can be guided to a lower portion, and can be surely treated without being dispersed to a habitable space and a charging space, and the air conditioner of few failures can be provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
