<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal such as a mobile phone incorporated with an IC card function section the communication performance of which can simply be enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile terminal is configured such that first and second antennas 11, 12 for short distance wireless communication are arranged on a front side and a rear side of a case, the first antenna 11 or the second antenna 12 is selected and connected to a short distance wireless communication means 19 depending on a state of the case discriminated by discrimination means 21 to 27, and the selected antenna is used to carry out the short distance wireless communication with a reader/writer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
