<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable rack exhibiting excellent workability and flame retardance at the time of construction while using resources effectively by utilizing scrap plastic, and to provide its manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: The cable rack 10 has such a structure as a plurality of child beams 14 are fixed at a predetermined interval between a pair of opposing parent beams 12A and 12B to intersect them substantially perpendicularly. The parent beams 12A, 12B and the child beams 14 are molded of one kind or more of flame retardant scrap plastic as a main material mixed with a hardness enhancing material such as talc or a reinforcing material, as required, in order to obtain desired strength or moldability. The parent beams 12A, 12B and the child beams 14 are formed by deformed extrusion because the length of a molding is adjusted easily and it imposes no trouble on a die.
