<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque detector which can improve the accuracy in torque detection of a generator for a vechicle. <P>SOLUTION: A power generation controller 1 for a vehicle serving as a torque detector is equipped with a revolution detector 120 which detects the revolutions of the generator 2 for a vehicle, an exciting current detector 122 which detects an exciting current, an output voltage detector 124 which detects output voltage, an output current detector 126 which detects an output current, an efficiency calculating part 130 which calculates the efficiency of the generator 2 for vehicle, based on the detected revolution, the exciting current, the output voltage, and the output current, and a torque calculating part 132 which calculates generating torque, based on the calculated efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
