PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain improvement in operability by easily and speedily initiating a video display function, such as a television receiving function or a video content reproducing function without depending on user's key operation. SOLUTION: If it is detected that a shell is set to a second state (360°open) in the state of setting an automatic initiation mode, a TV receiver 30 and a TV display application program are initiated to display a TV video signal on a main display 5a. Furthermore, there are provided a full screen display mode for displaying a TV video signal using all the display area of the main display 5a and a partial screen display mode for performing display while dividing the display area of the main display 5a into a TV video display area and an additional information display area and when displaying a TV video signal on the main display 5a, said display modes are selectively used to display the TV video signal in accordance with the attitude of the shell.
