PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component which reduces the scattering of characteristic impedance. SOLUTION: A plurality of first projections 31A to 31D are formed on a first surface 31 of a wound core 3, and a plurality of second projections 32A to 32C are formed on a second surface 32 of the wound core 3 opposite to the first surface 31. Each projection has the same shape, and is so lined up that each first projection 31A to 31D is shifted to each second projection 32A to 32C. Wires 6, 7 are wound between each adjacent projections of the first and second projections 31A to 31D and 32A to 32C, so that one wire is in contact with one of the adjacent projections while the other wire is in contact with the other of the adjacent projections.
