PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve having improved property without increasing working cost. SOLUTION: A solenoid 21 is internally fitted in a cover 15, and a core 22 is internally fitted to the front end of the solenoid 21. A plunger 31 is internally fitted to the base end of the solenoid 21 in a movable manner. The plunger has a collar portion 33 extending along the base end face of the solenoid 21. The solenoid 21 has a connector mounting portion 62 at the front end, and a cover 15 has a cutout portion 63 from which the connector mounting portion 62 extends. The solenoid 21 is molded to form a molded portion 71. A groove portion 74 is recessed extending from an outer peripheral face 72 of the molded portion 71 over the base end face 73. Thus, a communication passage 81 is formed between the molded portion 71 and each of the cover 15 and the collar portion 33 of the plunger 31, via which the cutout portion 63 is communicated with a solenoid inner space 82 on the side of the core 22 beyond the collar portion 33.
