PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low repulsion property elastomer roller capable of suppressing manufacturing cost and being manufacturable by elastomer of various materials. SOLUTION: A basic material 3 is made of elastomer in which hollow minute ball polymers are blended. The elastomer has hardness of JIS A of 20 to 50 Hs. The hollow minute ball polymer is an elastic body, has outside diameter of 10 to 200 micrometers, and is coated with inactive inorganic fine particles. The hollow minute ball polymer is blended into the elastomer at a ratio of 1 to 10 mass%. The basic material 3 is provided around a metallic shaft 2 and forms a cylindrical shape. An inner peripheral face 3a of the basic material 3 is fixed to an outer peripheral face 2a of the shaft 2, and its surface 3b is polished. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
