PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and information processing method capable of securing advanced reliability. SOLUTION: A transmitting means 101 transmits data generated by processing in a second device from the second device to a first device. A data collating means 102 collates the data transmitted by the transmitting means with data generated by processing in the first device in the first device and determines an abnormal state when the both data do not coincide. Since the data generated by the processing in the first device is collated with the data generated by the processing in the second device to determine an abnormal state when the data do not coincide in this way, the abnormal state can surely be detected. When the data collating means 102 determines the abnormal state by collation, a processing stopping means 103 may stop processing by the first device.
