PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aluminum foil annealed coil particularly having reduced production of wrinkles regarding an efficient using method for an annealing furnace for a rolled aluminum foil coil. SOLUTION: The method for producing an aluminum foil coil comprises a stage where aluminum is subjected to lubrication rolling so as to produce aluminum foil; a stage where the aluminum foil is made into a coil; a stage where the aluminum foil coil is immediately heated and held to 300 to 350°C by an annealing furnace or a stage where a heat insulating material having the width equal to the width of a product to the width of 1/3 of the product is wrapped around the aluminum foil coil; a stage where, after the heating and holding at 300 to 350°C, without discharging the aluminum foil coil from the annealing furnace, the temperature in the annealing furnace is controlled to 100 to 300°C; a stage where, at the point of the time the temperature in the annealing furnace reaches 100 to 300°C, the aluminum foil coil is taken out from the annealing furnace; a stage where a heat insulating material having the width equal to the width of product width to the width of 1/3 of the product is wrapped around the taken-out aluminum foil coil; and a stage where, in a state the heat insulating material is wrapped around the aluminum foil coil, it is left to cool.
