PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system by which printing processing can be sped up. SOLUTION: The printing system is provided with a supporting member having a protruding part and a recessed part, a plurality of nozzles arranged along in the transfer direction and including a nozzle facing the protruding part and a nozzle facing the recessed part, and a controller being a controller for executing first printing processing, in which first transfer operation for transferring a medium by a first transfer amount and dot formation operation are alternately repeated, and for executing second printing processing in which second transfer operation for transferring by a second transfer amount smaller than the first transfer amount and the dot formation operation are alternately repeated when an image is printed on the lower end of the medium. Even when the uppermost stream nozzle is located at the upstream side in the transfer direction compared with the lowermost stream position at the lower end by executing the first transfer operation after certain dot formation operation and if prescribed conditions are satisfied, the controller executes third transfer operation having a transfer amount larger than the second transfer amount after the dot formation operation.
