PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for preventing the freezing of aggregate for concrete which can prevent the freezing of the aggregate for concrete relatively simply at low costs. SOLUTION: The apparatus for preventing the freezing of the aggregate has a control unit (10), one or more temperature sensors (12) connected to the control unit, one or more wind speed sensors (14) connected to the control unit, and a valve (16) which is connected to the control unit and opens/closes steam piping (18) ejecting steam to the aggregate. Data for setting the opening time and closing time of the valve in advance corresponding to the combination of temperature and wind speed are stored in the control unit. When the temperature and the wind speed are measured by the sensors, the opening time and closing time of the valve are decided on the basis of the data so that the steam is ejected, or the ejection is stopped.
