PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite gas-barrier film having excellent adhesion between an inorganic vapor deposition layer and a substrate polyester film and high gas-barrier properties. SOLUTION: The composite gas-barrier film comprises a coating layer containing at least one water-soluble or water-dispersive polymer resin (A) and a polyvalent aldehyde compound (B) as main components on at least one side of the substrate polyester film and the inorganic vapor deposition layer on the coating layer.
