PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the tunnel cultivation of watermelons with the need of no cogon(4), intended for effecting higher operating efficiency for branch trimming and agrochemical application. SOLUTION: The method comprises the following practice: Supporting poles(9) are set upright in a plastic greenhouse-like tunnel(2), strings(8) or bars are hooked on the supporting poles(9) and fixed under tension.
