PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod-hanging apparatus in which retention and detachment of a fishing rod can readily be carried out and possibility causing falling of the rod is low because of sure retention of the rod and operability of the fishing rod itself is not impaired and fishing taste is kept with caution. SOLUTION: The fishing rod-hanging apparatus 10 is equipped with a body 20 composed of left and right members 20A and 20B having a symmetrical shape, an arm 21 provided on one side of left and right members 20A and 20B of the body 20 and used for positioning the fishing rod 40, a rod-receiving part 22 and a rod-retaining part 23 provided on other side of left and right members 20A and 20B of the body 20 and used for retaining the fishing rod 40 and a base 30 provided in the center part of the left and right members 20A and 20B and fixed to a boat.
