When information (image information and control information) for designating the formation of a developed image on a plurality of recording sheets S is inputted, the driving of the photosensitive drum (50), a developing unit (52) and a transfer roll (56) is controlled so as to form the developed image on the plurality of recording sheets S continuously in response to the designating information and to stop driving of the photosensitive drum (50), the developing unit (52) and the transfer roll (56) at least once during the continuous image formations.
