<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system for adjusting colors of print data on the basis of a color profile corresponding to a color image forming apparatus and thereafter outputting the adjusted data to the color image forming apparatus that can extremely decrease a change in coloring of each printed matter obtained attended with deterioration in an engine by discriminating a change in the engine characteristic so as to change the color profile. <P>SOLUTION: A color image forming apparatus is characterized in to include: a function of printing color adjustment test paper; and a function of scanning the color adjustment test paper printed by the printing function to obtain a present engine characteristic, and adjusting the color profile so as to obtain a printed matter with the same coloring as that at start of printing through the decision of the obtained present engine characteristic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
