<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer electrolyte fuel cell power generation system that can prevent the deterioration of a electrolyte film so that the life of the fuel cell is improved. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell 101 is constituted by having a path for supplying a fuel gas to a plurality of cells having an anode and a cathode that holds a polymer electrolyte film therebetween, a path for supplying an oxidant gas, and a path for supplying a cooling fluid in a direction opposite to power generation regions of a plurality of cells. The fuel cell generates electric power together with heat in the power generation region. A fuel gas supply system 102 for supplying a fuel gas to the fuel cell, an oxidant gas supply system 103 for supplying an oxidant gas , and a cooling fluid supplying system 104 , and a control system 108 are provided. When electric power is generated, the control system 108 regulates a cooling fluid inlet temperature through the cooling fluid supply system to satisfy a condition of T1≥T2+1°C, wherein a reduced due point temperature at least at the inlet 403 or 404 of the fuel gas or oxidant gas is T1, and a temperature at the inlet 401 of the cooling fluid is T2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
