PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning robot capable of performing careful cleaning by controlling a cleaning part according to a condition of a floor surface or surrounding environment. SOLUTION: A control part 20 controls rotation or a height position of a side brush 4 or a mail brush 5 of the cleaning part, controls an opening/closing time interval or an opening/closing amount of a flapper 7, and controls travel by a driving wheel 2 and an eccentric caster 3, on the basis of environmental information and map information of a cleaning target area acquired by a laser radar 12, an ultrasonic sensor 13, and a distance image camera 14.
